Some pictures from our trip to Lookout Mountain, GA

We recently spent a weekend at a Bed & Breakfast in Lookout Mountain, Ga to celebrate our 4th anniversary. We actually stayed at right across the street from the site of our wedding. We were able to walk down and "relive" some of the memories of that day. Here's a few pics from the weekend. It was a HOT weekend... so we all enjoyed some time in the pool - including Niall. He was just absolutely fascinated by the water.

Sweet Potatoes - Yummy!

Niall started eating some vegetables today - he seemed to really like the sweet potatoes that Melissa made for him... but apparently most of it ended up on his face and his bib.

Relaxing on the Porch Swing

Dad spent this past weekend installing a porch swing on the front porch (not as easy as it looks!) Niall was very excited to have a new place to relax and swing and play.
He does NOT like having the sun in his eyes - so it was the perfect day to try out his new safari hat.

Change my diaper already!!

Nothing brings a smile to Niall's face like getting naked on the changing table. He is really looking forward to the hot, summer months of Atlanta so he can spend more time with less clothing.

Niall had a blast today playing in his new swing. Within 5 minutes of Dad hanging it in the doorway, Niall had it figured out - swinging and bouncing and laughing. He's going to have some strong little legs soon!

Niall is all dressed up and ready for a night on the town!

Here's Niall getting all dressed up in his new corduroy pants & a fresh polo shirt. He loves going out to dinner with Mom & Dad - especially if it's a busy, noisy restaurant. The noisier the better!
Of course, Niall gets a lot attention when he goes out in public. The most popular comment from his many fans -- "look at all that hair!"

Here's Niall before the service - wearing his handmade bonnet & gown that his Grandma Fowler made him for the special day. Mom is rubbing his eyebrows trying to lull him to sleep -- and it worked! Niall slept through the whole service right up until he felt someone putting something cold & wet on his forehead. He woke up, let out a little cry and went right back to sleep.

Niall loves chocolate... and so does Rocky!

Well, we caught Niall getting into our chocolate stash today - his first tast of solid foods! Actually, Dad just gave him a couple licks and smeared the rest on his face so that the boys could trick Mom into thinking that Niall had eaten her chocolate bar. He did seem to like the taste though! He is looking pretty guilty here....
We cleaned off his face, but apparently Rocky still smelled a little - Niall likes getting occasional kisses from Rocky.

Niall Chillin' Out in the "hot tub"

Here's Mr. Niall... very relaxed in his new "hot tub". These new baby bathtubs fit right in the sink and look very comfortable. Too bad they don't have this style of tub for adults!

More Playtime with Smiley Nially

During the week, Niall only gets to see his dad for a few hours a day. He usually wakes up at 7am on the dot and is ready to play. By 8am, it's time for dad to go to work, and Niall is ready to go back to bed. In between, he is full speed ahead playtime! At 6pm, it's the same routine over again... intense playing & laughing and then at some point Niall hits a wall and is ready to eat, eat, eat and then sleep. He's pretty predictable these days, but lots of fun when he is wide awake!
